My name is Cash Tompoles, and I’m a senior at Palm Desert High School in the Class of 2026. I started playing golf at seven, and it quickly became a true passion. I compete in Toyota Tour Cup, AJGA, and JGS-ranked tournaments throughout California and beyond. Golf has taught me patience, focus, and the value of steady improvement.

I use Decade Golf to track performance and make smarter decisions on the course. My training includes daily practice, fitness, short-game work, and mental preparation. I like breaking big goals into smaller steps and measuring progress along the way. Every round gives me something new to learn.
 

I currently serve as captain of my high school golf team, a role I take seriously and value deeply. Being captain has taught me how to lead by example, stay composed under pressure, and support teammates through both good rounds and tough ones. I’ve learned that leadership in golf isn’t about being the loudest voice. It’s about consistency, accountability, and showing up for people.
 

While golf is often seen as an individual sport, I believe strongly in a team-first mindset. Competing alongside my teammates and working toward shared goals has been one of the most rewarding parts of my experience and has pushed me to be a better player and teammate.

I take the same disciplined approach to academics that I bring to golf. Consistency and accountability matter to me, both in the classroom and in training.
 

My goal is to play college golf at the highest level and contribute to a program that values hard work, teamwork, and integrity. I’m motivated to learn from great coaches, compete against strong players, and continue developing as both an athlete and a person.
 

Golf keeps me grounded and driven. I embrace the challenge, and I’m excited for what comes next.
